Alexander Moore, BSc.
Alex is a connector and an innovator who is naturally drawn to people and problems. A strong proponent of design thinking and human-centred design, Alex has experience with fintech, science, communication, user experience design, and operational streamlining.
When not strategizing human-centred research questions, Alex is usually ideating complicated lego blueprints and elaborate fort structures with his two children, who run him ragged and are the apples of his eye. He enjoys reading in all forms, from the backs of cereal boxes to the literary greats, he's a fountain pen aficionado, and an avid Dungeons and Dragons player.
Prior to joining the Ideation Clinic™, Alex was a product manager at John Hancock, the American-facing side of Manulife Financial, focussing on making things that work for real people. He's a graduate of the University of Guelph, where he met his amazing wife, and is a current graduate student at the University of Toronto.
What does your role at the Ideation Clinic™ entail?
The opportunity to be a part of designing a better world, putting together ideas and people to ultimately make a difference was just too good to pass up.

What is your Superpower?
The ability to undo any knot - jewellery, string, charged misunderstanding, or impossible feeling research question... If it's tangled, I can untangle it.

Who or what inspires creativity in you?
